ChurchMng is the church management platform at churchmng.app. ChurchMng Admin is the app its staff and volunteers use at the counter; ChurchMng Family is the app for a church’s member families.

Write to churchmng@churchmng.app with your church’s name and what you were doing when the problem happened. We answer within one business day.

Getting an account

Neither app has a sign-up screen, and that is deliberate — accounts belong to a church, not to the app store. A church administrator creates your account on the web platform and chooses what you may do. Once that is done you can sign in on the app with the same cell phone number. If you do not know who your administrator is, ask at your church office, or email us and we will point you to them.

Signing in

Enter your cell phone number — the one your church has on file for you — and we text you a six-digit code.
No code arrives? Check that the number your church has on file is the one you are typing, and that you have not replied STOP to a previous message. Reply START to the same number to turn messages back on.
Face ID can be turned on after the first sign-in so you do not need a code every time.
“This number is not registered” means your administrator has not created the account yet, or has it under a different number.

Taking payments (ChurchMng Admin)

Cash, family tab and rewards work on any device.
Tap to Pay on iPhone works on iPhone XS and later. Apple’s terms can only be accepted by a church administrator; other operators will be asked to contact theirs.
Stripe Reader (M2) connects over Bluetooth and is the way to take cards on iPad. Turn it on in Settings → Use Stripe Reader.
Card payments need a card reader set up for your church. If the app says your church’s payment settings or address are incomplete, an administrator can finish that on the web platform under Church Setup.
Refunds are made from the order itself: open the menu → Search Orders, find the order, then cancel and refund it. The permission for that is granted by your administrator.

Your account and your data

Your church administrator creates and removes operator accounts on the web platform; there is no account creation or deletion inside the ChurchMng Admin app. Families using the ChurchMng Family app can delete their own account from inside that app. To have information corrected or removed, ask your church first — they can do it directly — or email us and we will help them.

Text messages

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts, and START to resume. Sign-in codes are sent by text, so opting out will also stop those codes from reaching you.
